PILOT TIME REFLECTION

Today as part of our independent learning (P.I.L.O.T Time), we tried having reading, writing and maths activities for us to choose from during the middle block (10.55am - 12.30pm). At the end of the middle block, we discussed how we found the different choices. Here are out thoughts...
Most of us liked being able to choose from different activities and thought the time was longer as we didn't need to stop what we were doing. We liked that we still had to do our 'Must Do's' and liked helping each other when working independently. Some of us found it hard to stay on task. Most liked the task board to see what to choose from.
Our new consideration is using the time carefully and making good choices so we are working on our 'hard spots'. Over the next couple of days, we are going to have a think about how we can make sure that we are working on our goals so we are using the time to learn 'new' things to become 'better than before'.
