BooK Week Reflections

We really liked the Pyjama Day because we got to come to school in our pyjamas and drink HOT CHOCOLATE! YUMMY!!
Some of the things we really enjoyed included.....
Going to the Book Fair in the library and looking at all the cool books we could buy.We thought it looked a bit like a shop.
The 'Dress Up' day was really cool because didn't need to come to school in our school uniforms. We really liked looking at all the different outfits during the parade. One bad thing about dressing up was that some of us found it uncomfortable to be in our costumes for the whole day and because it was raining, some of us couldn't go outside because of what we were wearing.
We loved the read around in the afternoons with different teachers coming to our class to read to us.

Eunseo's favourite was Kiss, Kiss Yuck, Yuck!

We wrote two books during Book Week. One was for our special visitors and grandparents on Grandparents Day and we also wrote and illustrated another one during the week.
We thought that Kyle Mewburn was really funny on Friday. We loved his book 'Old Huhu' and 'Kiss,Kiss, Yuck, Yuck!' He has written over 30 books!!
We can't wait for Book Week next year.
On Monday we will find out who won the Book Cover competition. Come into the class to see some of our entries. They are really cool!
